Conception’s impressive resume includes experience in the Venezuelan winter league with teams like Lara, La Guaira, Aragua, and Margarita. He also spent time in the Atlanta Braves institution, showcasing his talent at the Single-A level with a .267 batting average and 14 home runs in 214 games.

Moderator: You’ve had a phenomenal career, and obviously, you’re familiar with the demands of defending a championship. parma Clima has made some intriguing roster moves after their prosperous season. What are your early impressions of their strategies for the upcoming season?
Marco: Well, I think retaining manager Marcello Saccardi is an absolute masterstroke. continuity is crucial in baseball, and Saccardi’s leadership was instrumental in their championship run. It’s great to see the core of the Italian squad returning too. Guys like Bocchi, Scotti, Santana – they bring incredible experience and consistency.
Moderator: Absolutely. But we’ve also seen key international players like Encarnacion and Luis Gonzalez depart.How significant are these losses,and do you think Parma Clima can adequately fill those gaps?
Marco: Losing talent is never easy,especially players of their caliber. Encarnacion was a sparkplug, and Luis Gonzalez had a fierce bat. However, I’m not overly concerned. Parma Clima has always been a club that scouts and develops talent effectively.

Marco:I believe they have a real shot. They have a winning culture,a veteran manager,a solid core of returning players,and a striking addition in Conception.
