This prestigious award, established four years ago to honor the legacy of the renowned reporter-photographer richard Martin, who sadly passed away after a prolonged illness, recognizes outstanding achievements in the field.
Monier’s winning photograph, featured in a special issue of The Magazine Team dedicated to sports photography, is sure to be a treasured possession. This edition also showcases the work of othre prominent figures in the field, including the acclaimed Brazilian photographer Sebastiao Salgado, further highlighting the caliber of Monier’s accomplishment.
Monier’s journey to photographic success is as inspiring as her work. Her passion for sports is evident in her diverse athletic background, which includes years of experience in horse riding and handball. Competing for Saint-Chamond Handball Pays du Gier (SCHPG) in various leagues, including under 18, N3, and N2, honed her discipline and teamwork skills. Today, she combines her love for sports with her legal expertise, working as a lawyer for the National Handball League after graduating from the Center for Sports Economics.
