DG: ”It’s a fascinating question. Kvara can definitely play across the front line, but I wouldn’t pigeonhole him into any one position. Does he have the experience of dropping deep and orchestrating play like a classic ‘false nine’? Probably not yet.
Mbappé is the undisputed star, so you have to build around him.The question is, do you bring in someone like Kvaratskhelia to complement him or potentially create competition? That’s where Luis Enrique needs to be more transparent. we need to understand his vision for the team.”

Do you think Kvaratskhelia is worth the reported €80 million price tag?
DG:
“Talent like that doesn’t come cheap. In today’s market, €80 million might be a bargain for a player with his potential. but, and it’s a big but, it’s not just about the price tag. It’s about how he fits the puzzle. Can Enrique mold him into a key piece of the PSG jigsaw. That’s the million-dollar question.”
What message would you give to PSG fans who are excited about the prospect of kvaratskhelia joining the club?
DG:
“Be excited, be optimistic! This lad has the talent to light up the Parc des Princes.
But, let’s be patient. Let’s see how Luis Enrique uses him. Let’s see if this signing truly moves PSG closer to that elusive Champions League trophy.
