I joined in 2017,recalls the ‌team’s longest-serving member. Back​ then, we ⁢were competing in ⁣D1.Over the past eight seasons, we’ve achieved five promotions, bringing us to the pre-national level.

Aiming for Nationale 3: The next Challenge

For⁢ nearly a decade, the Ploubazlanec club has consistently been a dominant ⁤force.“Despite multiple promotions, we hit a‍ plateau in R1 for a couple of years. ‌though, the off-season tournaments ‍have reignited ‌our​ momentum,” Elodie explains.

This temporary⁤ setback never dampened ‍the players’⁢ determination.

While many clubs might focus⁤ on consolidation after a promotion, ​the terns are setting their sights even higher. Their ⁣ambition knows no bounds.

Being located in a remote area makes it challenging to attract new talent. Still, four of our eight players hail from the Rennes region, which speaks volumes about our appeal.

The club’s competitive edge and camaraderie continue to draw players in.

“An Electric Atmosphere”

In the past, championships ofen took place in outdoor gyms, with two matches scheduled in a single⁣ day. “Now,in the pre-national league,we only have 10 home games in Ploubazlanec. The absence of return matches‍ changes the dynamic.Our ⁢supporters create​ an electric atmosphere,and their numbers keep ⁣growing,” Elodie shares.

This⁣ surge in fan support has clearly paid off, as Elodie and her teammates currently lead their group.

We’re not shy about ​our​ goal: to compete in⁤ the play-offs ⁤and secure a ​spot in ​Nationale 3. We ⁢have what it takes.

With their sights set on the final matches,the team hopes to deliver a thrilling performance for their loyal fans. “Thanks‍ to our president, we’ve requested to host the play-off matches in Ploubazlanec. He’s gone above and beyond to ensure we’re in the best possible position,” ​Elodie adds.

To maintain their momentum and excel in the upcoming April ⁢fixtures,​ the Ploubazlanec⁣ team must overcome Quimperlé, currently ranked seventh in the league.

The decisive match will be held​ in Ploubazlanec on Saturday,January 25,2025,starting at 4 p.m.
