Hermosillo, Sonora.- The Hermosillo Sports Institute (IDH) is making important strides in organizing the municipal phase of the Conade National Games 2025, where teams are being carefully selected to represent the city in the upcoming state-level competitions.
Under the leadership of IDH director Rafael Cruz Flores, several sports disciplines, including women’s softball, indoor volleyball, baseball, soccer, and chess, have already finalized their Hermosillo-based teams. These squads are gearing up to face off against rival municipalities in the state phase.
For other sports like athletics, bowling, fronton, judo, karate, taekwondo, and tennis, athletes have advanced directly to the state stage, bypassing municipal-level contests. This streamlined approach ensures that top-tier talent is identified and prepared for higher-level competition.
the municipal phase of the National Games kicked off in December and is ongoing, with teams being meticulously chosen to represent Hermosillo. Current competitions include 3×3 and 5×5 basketball, followed by boxing and archery, where winners will be determined.
