The Judo Center Heubach (JZH) marked another accomplished year in 2024, solidifying its position as a leading judo club in Baden-Württemberg and Germany. The club’s achievements were celebrated during a special awards ceremony held at the town hall, recognizing the dedication of athletes, volunteers, and the community.
The evening commenced with a vibrant performance by the “D-Lights Böbingen” dance group from the local TSV, setting a festive tone for the event. Sven Albrecht, chairman of the JZH circle of friends, welcomed the guests, highlighting the important sporting accomplishments of the year. He emphasized that these successes wouldn’t be possible without the tireless efforts of dedicated volunteers.
Peter Graf, the club’s chairman, echoed this sentiment, underscoring the importance of volunteerism in the JZH’s journey. He noted that the club, which emerged from the TSV 30 years ago, has a rich history dating back to 1964, boasting an impressive 330 titles won over the years.

Nika Baumhauer showcased her talent by securing first place at the NWM, second place at the WM, and third place at both the WM U15 and BWM U15.
