Teh Cáceres Sports City Pavilion will host the FLAG CHALLENGE on Sunday, January 26.This event marks the culmination of the Minibasket Category Talent Detection and selection Program, wich has been conducted across the region over the past few months under the guidance of the General Directorate of Youth and Sports of the Government of Extremadura.
On Sunday morning, selected participants will engage in competitive matches to showcase their skills in a real-game habitat. This serves as the final step in the talent identification and growth process, overseen by category selectors Adrián Zambrano (boys) and Antonio Rodríguez (girls), along with juan pablo Márquez, the technical manager of the fexb selection area.
Participants are reminded to arrive at the Pavilion entrance at the designated times: 9:15 for GREEN and BLACK team members and 10:30 for WHITE team members. They must meet their respective team technicians at the entrance to gain access to the facility. While public entry is free, spectators will not be permitted on the playing court.
The list of participants, their assigned teams, and the match schedule can be found in the attached document. For any inquiries,please contact the sports manager of the participant’s home club. Players are advised to bring their own water bottles for hydration. Game uniforms will be provided by the coaches on the morning of the event and must be returned after the matches.
Following this event, the technical training program will advance to the women’s and men’s categories.A new list of participants will be released based on the outcomes of this Final Phase and previous training sessions.
