Matt Barnes: Look,Rudy is a great player when he’s engaged. But he needs the right system, the right teammates around him. and he’s struggled to find that consistency in Minnesota. Without Towns next to him, he’s exposed.
Me: So where do the Timberwolves go from here? Is a mid-season trade a necessary evil?
Matt Barnes: They need to make a move. They can’t just stand pat and hope things magically turn around. They need to find a veteran leader, a guy who can set the tone defensively and hold the locker room accountable.
