This past Saturday, Jairis etched their name in the history books by clinching a coveted berth in the Copa de la Reina knockout stage. Their decisive 80-66 victory over Cadí La Seu at home solidified their place among Spain’s elite.The Endesa Women’s League concluded its qualifying round this weekend, revealing the four teams joining Jairis in Zaragoza from March 20th to 23rd. Thes four teams will face off against the top seven teams from the first round, which concluded with Spar Girona claiming the winter championship title. As the top seed, Girona enjoys the advantage of playing their first match on Thursday afternoon, granting them an extra 24 hours of rest before a potential semifinal clash.
Joining girona in the seeded group are powerhouse teams Perfumerías Avenida, Valencia Basket, and Casademont Zaragoza, setting the stage for an exciting and competitive tournament.
