Calling All Aspiring Softball Stars: U15 National Team Tryouts Announced
Young athletes born in 2011 and 2012 who dream of representing their country on the softball field have a chance to shine. Tryouts for the U15 national team are scheduled for early 2025, offering a pathway for talented players to showcase their skills and potentially earn a spot on the roster.
To be considered, participants should possess a foundational understanding of softball rules and demonstrate a baseline level of athletic ability.
Mark your Calendars: Tryout Dates and Locations
Aspiring players can choose from three convenient locations across Germany:
Wesseling (North rhine-Westphalia): Saturday, January 18th, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Karlsruhe (Baden-Württemberg): Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
* Schwaig (Bavaria): Saturday, February 15th, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
what to Bring
Participants are asked to bring appropriate athletic attire, including softball-specific clothing suitable for the weather conditions. Essential equipment includes gloves, bats, batting gloves, softball shoes, and running shoes.
In addition to gear, please bring personal documents such as an identity card, vaccination certificate, health insurance card, and any relevant allergy information.
Remember to pack your own food and drinks, as refreshments will not be provided.Transportation and Costs
Travel to and from the tryouts is the duty of each participant, and associated costs are not covered by the association.
