Speaking at the launch of the LavAni Livin Transmedia squad for the 2025 Proliga, Harnoko highlighted the team’s notable track record, noting their consistent presence in the finals for the past three years.
This consistent success,with a 70% chance of reaching the finals,is a testament to LavAni’s dominance in the Indonesian volleyball scene. Harnoko drew a comparison to the legendary Samator club, which, despite seven proliga titles over two decades, boasts a lower win probability of 30%. LavAni’s meteoric rise since its founding in 2019 is reminiscent of the ”Veni, Vidi, Vici” adage – they came, they played, they conquered.
This success story extends beyond LavAni’s individual achievements. Though, comparing them to Samator so early in their career might be premature. Samator built a legacy over two decades, securing seven Proliga titles.LavAni needs to prove their staying power over a longer period.

Coach Budimir: That’s a valid concern. Dominance can breed complacency if other teams fail to adapt. However,I believe competition thrives on challenges. LavAni’s success should serve as a benchmark, pushing other teams to step up their game, develop new strategies, and ultimately elevate the level of play across the league.
