On December 7th, the clubS young archers participated in a youth tournament hosted by the Arcieri Imperiesi. The team delivered outstanding performances, securing several podium finishes. Camilla Padova secured a commendable third place in the Female Olympic Bow category. In the Male Olympic Bow category for the youngest competitors, Carlo Martin dominated the field, clinching first place and setting a new personal best. Sebastiano Manno followed closely behind, earning a well-deserved third place, while Noè Giubilato secured a respectable fifth place, marking a strong debut for the team. Vittoria Bellan demonstrated remarkable improvement in the Female Compound Bow category, ultimately claiming victory with a critically important 33-point increase in her score during the latter half of the competition.
Laura Lorenzi, the team’s dedicated coach, expressed immense pride in the archers’ achievements, highlighting their hard work and commitment.
Giulia Aloi Continues Winning Streak
The club’s success continued the following day at the Arcieri Imperiesi’s Juniores – Senior – Master tournament. Giulia Aloi, a rising star in the club, secured a first-place finish in the Female Compound Bow Juniores category, further solidifying her position as a top contender.
Aloi’s winning streak extended to December 1st, where she competed in a tournament organized by the Arcieri del Tigulio in Riva Trigoso, Genova. She once again emerged victorious, demonstrating her consistent performance and unwavering determination.

The Archery Club Ventimiglia is gearing up for its next challenge on December 15th, with a competition scheduled in Monaco Principato. The team is eager to build on its recent successes and continue to make its mark on the archery world.

What’s your take on their performance?
Laura: I couldn’t be prouder! The dedication these young archers have shown is truly remarkable. Seeing Carlo take first place and set a new personal best was simply thrilling.And for Noè, his first competition, to finish in the top five is a testament to his raw talent and potential.
It sounds like the future of Italian archery is in good hands with these young talents. And speaking of bright futures, Giulia Aloi continues to dominate in the Female Compound Bow Juniores category.What makes Giulia such a standout athlete?
Laura: Giulia is a force to be reckoned with. She possesses incredible focus, discipline, and a natural talent for the sport. Her back-to-back wins at both the Arcieri Imperiesi and Arcieri del Tigulio tournaments are a clear indication of her unwavering dedication. Watching her compete is truly inspiring.
You mentioned dedication and focus. Those are undeniably crucial qualities for any archer. What do you see as the biggest challenges facing young archers today, and how does the Archery Club Ventimiglia help them overcome those obstacles?
Laura: One of the biggest challenges is maintaining motivation and commitment. Archery requires immense patience and perseverance. At Ventimiglia, we foster a supportive and encouraging habitat where our young athletes feel valued and challenged. We celebrate their successes and help them learn from their setbacks.
That’s a fantastic approach. looking ahead, what are your expectations for the club’s upcoming competition in monaco Principato on December 15th?
Laura: We’re going to Monaco with the same spirit of determination and teamwork that has brought us success so far.Our archers are prepared to give it their all, and I’m confident they will represent the club with pride.
