Petr Čajánek: “It was truly impressive. Kladno is a team that doesn’t shy away from peppering the net, and Tomek handled their assault with remarkable composure. A shutout against any team is a testament to a goalie’s skill, but to do it against Kladno after such a long drought says volumes about his dedication and mental fortitude.”

Petr Čajánek: “Oh, absolutely! The holiday period is notoriously tricky for athletes. it’s easy to let your discipline slip, and those late-night meals and extra servings of sweets can weigh heavily on you come game day.The key is preparation. It’s about managing your intake in the days leading up to the game, staying hydrated, and ensuring you have enough time to warm up properly and loosen those muscles.”
Moderator: Speaking of warming up, Tomek also admitted to a pre-game ritual of praying he wouldn’t concede a goal to Jaromír Jágr. Knowing Jágr’s legendary status, did you ever have similar pre-game anxieties?

But Tomek’s performance is not a one-man show.Litvínov has a well-rounded team with solid offensive players and a defensive structure that creates opportunities while stifling opposition attacks. They’re playing with a lot of desperation and grit, and that’s something difficult to counter.”
