In a stunning turn of events, league leaders IK Sävehof suffered their first defeat of the season, falling to Önnereds HK with a close score of 29–27 (17–13). This unexpected outcome unfolded at the ÖHK hall,echoing last year’s intense matchup where Önnereds HK emerged victorious. This time,standout performances from Isabelle Rydén and Moa Andersson were pivotal in setting the tone for Önnereds HK’s triumph.
Meanwhile, in a parallel match, HK Aranäs delivered a remarkable performance against IF Hallby, securing a 28–26 victory. This collective overperformance propelled Aranäs up the ranks,moving them past Hallby to claim the fifth spot on the league table.
ÖNNEREDS HK vs.IK SÄVEHOF: A Tactical Battle
Önnereds HK’s victory was fueled by a balanced attack, with Isabelle Rydén leading the charge with seven goals. Moa Andersson and Line Homdrom Rusten each contributed five goals, while Elin Österwall, Moa Boqvist, Sophie Johansson, Ella Sjöberg, Moa Wallin, and Evelina Källhage added crucial points to the scoreboard.
