Archers Shine Across France: A Week of Triumphs adn New Horizons
In a remarkable display of skill and precision, French archers have dominated competitions across L’union, Muret, Carcassonne, and Bressol, amassing a stunning array of medals and podium finishes. This week, the bow company showcased its prowess, with four archers competing at the Union. Ambre secured a commendable fourth place in senior 1, while Philippe claimed second place in senior 2. Emmanuel also finished fourth, and Séverine proudly stood on the podium in third place.
The action continued over the weekend across three sites.In Muret, Philippe once again demonstrated his dominance by winning the senior 2 competition, with Marine triumphing in the U21 category. lucas finished a strong sixth. Carcassonne witnessed exceptional performances, with Valentin clinching victory, followed by JordanS win in U15. sofyan secured third place in U18, while Léopold delivered a stylish win in the same category. Vincent and Fiona faced tougher challenges, finishing seventh and fifth in senior category 1, respectively.
Ambre continued her winning streak at Bressol, asserting her prowess with her bow. Eddy Gobbato, the president of the archery company, highlighted new developments, including an agreement with the city to introduce archery as an after-school activity in Pamiers’ primary schools. Plans are underway to expand the discipline to neighboring villages through the USEP. The company is also preparing to welcome new recruits to bolster their teams for the upcoming season.
As the archers gear up for future competitions, they also look forward to a festive Christmas snack for their licensees on Saturday, December 21. Training sessions are scheduled throughout the week, offering opportunities for beginners and competitors alike to hone their skills.
