Mayor Roberto Lagalla personally welcomed the triumphant Palermo Forense football team, highlighting the city’s commitment to expanding its sporting infrastructure and fostering a thriving athletic community.

Sofia: Extremely important. The paralympic athletes represent sheer grit, determination, and the triumph of the human spirit. Their achievements are just as remarkable,if not more so,as those in mainstream sports. It’s crucial to celebrate their stories and highlight the incredible athleticism and sportsmanship they embody, breaking down barriers and inspiring everyone to push their limits. [1]
Looking forward, what are your aspirations for your sailing career?
Sofia: I’m aiming to continue to train hard and elevate my performance on the world stage. The 49er FX class is incredibly competitive, and I’m determined to challenge myself against the best sailors.My ultimate dream is to represent Italy at the Olympics and bring home a medal for my country. [1]
