The German guard suffered his second loss in three games as being traded to the Warriors, as they fell 111-105 to the indiana Pacers at home.Schröder managed only nine points and three assists, continuing a trend of single-digit scoring performances in his brief stint with Golden State.
In contrast, the oklahoma City Thunder continued their dominant run, extending their winning streak to eight games with a resounding 123-105 victory over the Washington Wizards. Isaiah Hartenstein was instrumental in the Thunder’s success, contributing 16 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. This marks the fourth consecutive double-double for the German center, who has been a key contributor to the Thunder’s impressive start to the season.
The Dallas Mavericks welcomed back superstar Luka Doncic, who returned from a two-game absence due to a bruised left heel. Doncic led the Mavericks to a 132-108 home win over the portland Trail Blazers, scoring 27 points. Maxi Kleber chipped in with three points for Dallas.

Rick: That’s a crushing blow for the Magic. Both Wagner brothers bring a unique skillset, but losing Moritz, especially with his defensive intensity and rebounding prowess, is a massive setback. It will be a true test of their depth, but they showed guts by pulling off the upset against the Celtics. Tristan da Silva stepping up like that is a great sign for orlando.
Host: Da Silva was definitely the hero of the night, sinking that clutch three-pointer. Do you think this win gives the Magic a much-needed confidence boost, even without their star players?
Rick: Absolutely. A win like that, particularly against a championship caliber team like the celtics, can be a real turning point. It shows the rest of the team they can dig deep and compete even when faced with adversity.
Host: Let’s shift gears to the Golden State Warriors. Dennis Schröder’s transition hasn’t been smooth as the trade. What are your thoughts on his performance so far?
Rick: It’s always a tough adjustment being traded mid-season,especially for a team like the Warriors who have such a specific style of play. Schröder is a talented scorer, but he needs to find his rhythm within Golden State’s system. It doesn’t seem like he’s quite figured it out yet.
Host: Speaking of hot streaks, the oklahoma City Thunder are on fire, extending their winning streak to eight games! Isaiah Hartenstein is putting up some extraordinary numbers.Can they keep this momentum going?
Rick: Eight in a row is no fluke.the Thunder are a young and hungry team that’s playing with lots of energy. Hartenstein has been a revelation, providing a physical presence inside and a real spark off the bench. Their defence has been stifling, and their offense is clicking. If they stay healthy, they could be a real problem for a lot of teams this year.
Host: Luka Dončić returned for the Mavericks and put on a show against the Trail Blazers. His impact on this team is undeniable.
Rick: Luka is a generational talent, there’s no questioning that. The Mavericks’ offense flows through him, and his passing and scoring ability make their attack incredibly risky.
