Furinkazan Celebrates Another Year of Martial Arts Excellence
The PalaCaneparo was buzzing with excitement and pride yesterday as Furinkazan karate and judo students showcased their skills during the annual end-of-year exams. Under the guidance of masters Gabriele and Federica Achilli (karate) and Accursio Guardino (judo), young athletes from all belt levels, white to brown, demonstrated their mastery of the disciplines, achieving resounding success.
The event wasn’t just about technical proficiency; it was also a celebration of the values that Furinkazan instills in its students. The “Furinkazan Awards,” recognizing extraordinary “commitment, perseverance, dedication, and altruism,” were presented to a group of outstanding individuals: Gabriele Durini, Alessandro Vecchi, Samuele Tosi, Nefeli Buzzoni, Arianna Perèz Putinati, Lucrezia di Pietro, and Luca Bigoni.
Adding to the heartwarming atmosphere, four-year-old Lorenzo malaspina, the youngest Furinkazan judo student, received a special recognition, highlighting the inclusivity and dedication of the academy.
