Representing the Tierramarillano region, the Fujiyama Judo Club sent a formidable team of 18 athletes to the championships. Thes dedicated individuals had earned their spots by consistently ranking among the top 10 judokas in their respective weight classes throughout the year. Leading the charge for Fujiyama was Justin Ledezma Bugueño, who secured the coveted title of Under 18 National Champion in the 90 kg category.His victory was a testament to his exceptional technique and unwavering focus. Carolina Torres: It’s amazing to see the Fujiyama Judo Club shine like this. They’ve truly earned their reputation as a powerhouse in Chilean judo.
You coached champions before, and you know firsthand what dedicated training and strong leadership look like. What aspects of the club’s training do you think contributed to their phenomenal performance?
Carolina Torres: I believe their success boils down to three key factors: dedicated athletes,strong coaching,and a supportive club culture. These young judokas showed remarkable dedication, constantly pushing themselves to improve. Coach [Fujiyama Judo Club Coach’s Name] has done a fantastic job honing their skills. But more than that, the club fosters a supportive environment where athletes can learn, grow, and thrive.
