Renaud: ⁤ It’s definitely exciting! Judo has always been a huge part of my life. I started training at US Colomiers judo when I was just four years old, and I’ve ⁣been hooked ever as. To see all those years ⁢of dedication pay off is incredibly rewarding.

Host: It’s amazing to hear that your journey began so young.

Many budding athletes struggle to ⁢balance their passion with academic pursuits. you’re currently studying medicine at Creps de Talence while training for judo. How do you manage to juggle these demanding commitments?

Renaud: It’s definitely a challenge! I have to be very organized and disciplined with my time.⁤ I train around 15 hours a week, factoring in⁤ my studies and the travel between Bordeaux and my childhood club in kei Colomiers.
