Moderator: Lisa, thanks for joining us. we’re all buzzing about the 2025 archery calendar! with four Archery World Cup stages and the World Youth Championships in Winnipeg,it promises to be a remarkable year. Where are your eyes focused as we kick things off?
Lisa Unruh: It’s a packed schedule, for sure! While I’m always aiming for the World Championships, they are the pinnacle, after all. But I’m also very excited about the World cup stages. Each one offers a chance to test yourself against the best in the world and build momentum.
Moderator: Speaking of the best, Italian archer Mauro Nespoli has been a consistent force in recent World Cups. Do you see him as the man to beat this year leading into the finals in Gwangju?
Lisa Unruh: Mauro is undoubtedly a top contender. He’s incredibly consistent and possesses that mental fortitude crucial for success in archery. But I wouldn’t count out others.
Moderator: The World Youth Championships in Winnipeg are generating a lot of excitement. Do you see any young archers who could make a splash on the senior circuit in the coming years?
Lisa Unruh: Absolutely! Youth archery is brimming with talent. It’s inspiring to see their dedication and skill.
Moderator: Do you have any specific names that come to mind?
Lisa Unruh: I’m hesitant to single anyone out, but there are some incredibly talented youngsters coming up through the ranks. It’s frequently enough the unexpected ones who make a breakthrough.

Lisa Unruh: My advice would be to stay focused on your own journey. Don’t get caught up in comparisons or striving for instant success. Enjoy the process, embrace the challenges, and never stop learning. Most importantly, remember to have fun with it!
