Colombian Richard Ríos scored a spectacular goal for Palmeiras this Wednesday, in the match against Independiente del Valle on date 5 of group F of the Copa Libertadores 2024.
The midfielder, who plays for the coffee team, put the ‘verdão’ ahead in the 36th minute, with a powerful shot on a free kick, to beat goalkeeper Guido Villar.
It is Ríos’s first goal in the Copa Libertadores, a competition in which he has made 14 appearances. Palmeiras beat Independiente del Valle 2-1.
The midfielder has established himself in the Brazilian team, which has already confirmed its qualification for the round of 16 and hopes to reach the final stages of the competition.
