From April 26 to 28, the 3rd stage of the LTS Cup for the U14 age group took place in Đadaži, where Liepaja Tennis Sports School was represented by Damirs Livanskis, Paula Gurecka and Ance Skripka.

Paula Gurecka showed the best performance from the Liepāja players, who fought until the final of the competition, where she won the 1st place with a convincing game (6:0 6:0).

On April 27 and 28, the 6th stage of the LSTA prize competition for the U12 age group took place in Riga, in which the only representative of the Liepāja Tennis Sports School, Laura Devrinde, was seeded with number 2.

Laura successfully fought her way to the final, where she won, thereby triumphing in the 6th stage of the LSTA award competition.

On April 28, two different competitions “Babolat/Tennis My Life prize competition” were held in Riga for the youngest tennis players up to the U10 age group.

For the U8 and U9 age groups, the singles competition took place, while for the U10 age group, the tournament was organized for the doubles competition.

Liepāja Tennis Sports School was represented by Ralfs Līcis, Rudolf Janens, Adrian Gorbachovs and Robins Alksnis in the U8 age group, Kārlis Sproģis and Karolīna Kalnišķe in the U9 age group and Valters Valdmanis paired with Vladislava Melančenko, Leo Pohevičs paired with Ernesta Kreici, as well as Beatrice Vecbrāle, who was united with Emilija Indriksson (TSS Open) in the U10 age group.

In the U8 age group from Liepāja, Robins Alksnis showed the best performance, who did not lose during the entire competition and won the 1st place in the U8 age group, meanwhile, Kārlis Sproģis won the 2nd place in the U9 age group at the end of the competition.

Meanwhile, Beatrice Vecbrāle from Liepāja and Emilija Indriksons from Riga won the U10 age group doubles, but the pair from Liepaja – Valters Valdmanis and Vladislavs Melančenko – took second place.

On April 28, the JIL LTSS prize competition for the U12 age group took place in Liepāja, in which seven boys (five of whom were from Liepāja) and 14 girls (11 from Liepaja) took part.

The winner in the boys’ competition was the young Lithuanian tennis player Vilius Stega, Olivers Saukants from Liepaja came in 2nd place, and Hugo Ozoliņš (Mārupes TS) won the 3rd place.

Meanwhile, in the girls’ competition, only Liepaja women got on the podium – Darja Veronika Grodska won 1st place, Elizabete Stone came in 2nd place, and Jasmīna Sizova took 3rd place.

Already on May 4, the international ITF youth tennis competition “Liepaja Open”, which will gather young tennis talents from all over the world, will start with the qualification competition in the LOC Tennis Hall.
