This year, cyclists will be able to individually collect the kilometers traveled in the challenge with several intermediate finishes until September 27.
The organizers invite the participants to familiarize themselves with the rules of the challenge competition on the website veloronis.lv/veloaktivs.
The challenge “Veloaktivs 2024” is an individual cycling competition, where participants accumulate kilometers by moving individually by bicycle.
The goal is to challenge Liepāja residents and residents of the nearby neighborhood to cycle at least 15 km on a regular basis.
The winners will be those who collect the most kilometers by September 27. The longest distance covered in one activity or 15 km per day is counted.

At the start of the virtual challenge competition, on April 28 from 10 a.m., interested parties are invited to cycle through four checkpoints in a mixed order of their choice in order to receive a special “Veloactive puzzle piece”: cafe “Kubs” in Zirgu Island; Liepāja Olympic Center Pool&SPA; “KURTS coffee”, Tirgoņu Street 24; “Chili Pizza”, XL Sala, Klaipeda street 62.
At each control point, the participant will receive a special “Veloactive puzzle piece”, which (four in total) must be presented at the finish line at 5 p.m. on Liepāja beach near Liepāja letters (near the Lifeguard Station, Jūrmala Parks 2).
Several participants who have visited all checkpoints will receive prizes from organizers and supporters at random.
