Arts and Badminton Competition Schedule: Eligibility, Categories, and Prizes

Competition schedule

The Arts and Badminton competition is free and open to any adult or minor living in mainland France or in the overseas territories and departments. It will be possible to compete from OCTOBER 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. (metropolitan French time) and until MARCH 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Two age categories

Each competition will be organized in 2 different age categories, namely:

Youth categories: under 18 years old on the opening date of the competition Adult categories: over 18 years old on the opening date of the competition

Eligible works

The competition is organized in the following 5 major arts:

Material art: Model

Theme: The emblematic monuments of Paris Canvas art: Drawings, paintings, digital posters, graffiti

Theme: The Bad in the city or how the bad can be part of the city Art of photography: Photographs

Theme: Intergenerational bad (bad throughout the ages of life) Art of the pen: News, tales, fables, poems, comics

Theme: Imagination at the wheel (badminton in a fantastic imaginary world) Audiovisual Art: Video clips

Theme: Bad everywhere and for everyone

For each of the themes, specific specifications have been established, to which you can refer HERE (link to come). The deliberation will take place during the month of April 2024 in order to select 3 young winners and 3 adult winners.

Prix

The members of the jury will select 3 winners from the youth competitions and 3 other winners from the adult competitions, who will receive:

1st prize: 2 places at the Paralympic Badminton Games for a quarter-final 2nd prize: 2 places at the Paris 2025 Badminton World Championships for a quarter-final 3rd prize: 1 playing outfit + racket and a license in an affiliated club of your choice OR a day of immersion in the training of Thom GICQUEL and Delphine DELRUE with a visit to INSEP during the 2024-2025 season

Each participant can only participate once, with a single work and a single email address.
