San Diego hired two of the best eastern pitchers as reinforcements for the 2024 Show
The San Diego Padres have not strengthened their hitting. Juan Soto’s departure could be significant, however, the Friars still have three players of Soto’s quality. With Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr. and Xander Bogaerts as the team’s banners, the Southern California team is betting on pitching to regain its place in the MLB postseason.
The Friars announced the hiring of the Japanese Yuki MatsuiWorld Champion with Japan in the last World Baseball Classic, who arrives with a five-year contract for almost thirty million dollars.
