Premiere in German Judo: Two JudoKa’s Awarded 6th DAN Belts

In a very festively decorated hall, 61 pairs of participants from all over Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic lined up on two tatamis and then went on to compete later. The judoka were welcomed by the Kata representative of the Judo Association of Saxony, Jörg Schröder, its president Frank Nitzel, the board of the organizing club PSV Freital Tobias Meier, the president of the German Judo Federation Thomas Schynol, the vice president of the DJB, Jenny Frey and the DJB Kata- Representative Sebastian Frey was welcomed in short and warm words.

And then the time had come, a premiere in German judo sport, Frank NitzelPresident of the Saxony Judo Association and Sebastian Frey, DJB Kata speakers were the first JudoKa’s in Germany to be awarded the 6th DAN by Thomas Schynol, President of the German Judo Federation, thanks to their achievements in the technical examination in theory and practice as well as their special voluntary commitment . Sebastian Frey and Frank Nitzel have therefore acquired the right to wear the corresponding belts with judo clothing. The red and white belts were officially handed over.

But the Red-Wise Belt is just the tip of the iceberg, there is so much more behind this honor through recognition of the technical examination for the 6th DAN!

Numerous trips through Germany to prepare perfectly… Countless training sessions to more than meet the required demands, and anyone who knows the two knows that perfect is still not good enough, everything had to be right! Not to forget the many hours, days, weeks even months that your families had to do without their loved one and also hoped for the best the entire time and supported them again and again.

Congratulations Sebastian Frey and Frank Nitzel on this incredibly good performance.
