This morning the sixth edition of the Social Football Summit was presented in the Press Room of the Chamber of Deputies, the international event dedicated to the Football Industry which will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Rome on 21 and 22 November. Speakers included the Honorable Andrea Volpi, Gianfilippo Valentini, founder of the Social Football Summit, the journalist Giusy Meloni and the executive director of the AIC, Fabio Poli.
Over these two days, over 100 international speakers will take turns in more than 50 panels, including: Larry Freedman, President Los Angeles FC, Romy Gai, Chief Business Officer FIFA, Gaia Pretner, Head of Sustainability ECA, Giovanni Malagò, President CONI, Michele Uva, Director Social & Environmental Sustainability UEFA, Saad Allazeez, Interim CEO Saudi Pro League, Federica Cappelletti, President FIGC Femminile, Cristiana Pace, CEO Enovation Consulting, Carla Sciarpelletti, Director of the AGCOM Digital Services Department, Luigi de Siervo, CEO Lega Serie A, Javier Tebas, President LaLiga, Roberto Mancini CT Saudi Arabia, Rafela Pimenta, President The Football Forum, Laura Giuliani, AC Milan, Laura Iucci, Head of unit UNHCR, Valeria Belozertova, Senior Director Global Brand Partnerships esl Faceit Group, and many others and other protagonists, to discuss and share strategies and initiatives on the present and future of football.
The VI edition will be full of important organizational innovations, first of all the presentation and integration of the “Social Football Summit Manifesto”. Six fundamental pillars: from industrial development and human resources to sharing knowledge, sustainability, inclusion and social impact which will guide meetings, training, institutional dialogue and sharing, to help make the football industry a cutting-edge sector for innovation, sustainability and inclusiveness. The first day of the Social Football Summit 2023 will coincide with the final act of the “EXTRA TIME” start up competition, the new innovation program, created with the aim of giving space to those entities (Teams, Startups, SMEs) that can offer innovative products or solutions for the football industry. This sixth edition will deal in particular with the themes: investment & innovation (metaverse, blockchain, AI), revenues and business models, inclusion, impact and sustainability, creativity and digital disruption.
SFS23 will be a sustainable event thanks to the Ecoevents certification, and in implementing the event according to the ISO 20121 management system, a series of measures have been adopted aimed at creating awareness towards all stakeholders of the football Industry and enhancing environmental, economic and social.
Two intense days, organized by Go Project and Social Media Soccer, of high professional depth which will see, among other activities, a series of workshops dedicated to Lega Serie A, Lega B and Lega Pro in the Champions room of the Olympic Stadium To this we must add the organization of the 8 masterclasses in the national team locker room, a one-of-a-kind training experience. To complete the event, the Gala dinner on November 21st, during which the 2023 Football Summit Awards will be presented, over 15 awards to some of the protagonists of the football industry of the 2022/23 season. The event will be broadcast online in Italian and English thanks to the platform made available to all interested parties.
