Rising Stars: Young Badminton Players Propel Bad-à-Chaz Club to Success

There are around ten of them who participate in badminton school training every Monday, supervised by Pierre-Olivier Messner, supported by Maxime, a Staps student. “They are all already, at different levels, competitors. The two hours of training cover the physical, technical and strategic aspects that these young people put into practice during competitions.”

This group of players aged 9 to 12 also serves as a driving force for all the other young people in the Bad-à-Chaz club. Last season, Ethan Goyet won the Rhône Cup in individual, boys’ doubles and mixed doubles. This season, young people represent 50% of the club’s workforce, which has 140 members. Saturday October 14 and Sunday October 15, they will be able to come and encourage their elders, who are playing in the Saint-Exupéry hall.
