After a 7-1 win against Nova Scotia, Quebec savored a second victory in a few hours, Thursday, at the Canadian Senior Baseball Championship. He washed out Newfoundland/Labrador 13-3 in five innings.
As was the case in the first game, Josué Peley of the Victoriaville Cactus was a constant threat in the batting box. He added a double and a home run to his record. He finished the game with three RBIs.
Friday, in a highly anticipated duel, Quebec will cross swords with Ontario. The preliminary round ends Saturday, when the Quebec formation will face the host team, Alberta.
