The game was played at the Georgios Karaiskakis stadium in Piraeus and ended 1-1 in the ninety minutes of regulation with goals from Youssef En Nesyri for Sevilla and Cole Palmer for City. Nemanja Gudelj’s mistake was decisive on penalties.
