The American guard Kemba Walker, 33 years old and 1.83 meters tall, has become this Friday a new AS Monaco player for the next season, in “one of the biggest transfers in the history of the Euroleague”, after an outstanding career of 12 seasons in the NBA.

“Walker officially joined AS Monaco in one of the biggest transfers in history,” confirmed the Euroleague itself on its website, specifying the year of the contract signed by the shooting guard “after a brilliant career” in the United States professional league.

The press release recalled that the American guard averaged 19.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 750 regular season games in the NBA, as well as 19.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 31 playoff games in four seasons.

“Walker, a 2019 All-NBA Third Team selection, now brings his talents to the ‘Old Continent’ as he prepares to play in the EuroLeague for the first time in his career,” the press text concluded, about another flashy signing for the Monegasque club.
