Ronda will be the setting for the 8th edition of the ‘Padel Potency’ tournament, organized by a group of young lovers of this sport who, under the same name, try to promote its practice in our city. The event will have the collaboration of the Youth delegation of the Ronda City Council. Alberto Carrasco, representing this group, has reported that the championship will take place at the El Fuerte sports facilities on August 25, 26 and 27.
There will be six categories, third, fourth and fifth, one for initiation, one for women and another for mixed couples. Registration can be done through the ‘padel manager’ application, and by calling 649 601 412 you can find all the information you need. Some fifty couples have already registered in just two days and the quota is just over a hundred, so half of the participants are already covered by Ronda players, but also from the rest of the province. The registration fee is 20 euros, which includes two matches, a t-shirt and other gifts from the sponsors. As for the prizes, they will reach up to 200 euros in cash.
The municipal youth delegate, Jorge Fernández, has stated that he is proud to be able to collaborate with people as committed and enterprising as the ones that make up ‘Padel Potency’. He has pointed out that the tournament already has an important upward trajectory where each edition achieves greater quality and participation. He has highlighted the indisputable commitment to this type of initiative by the youth of Ronda.
