Today 2k announced that Season 8 of NBA 2K23 is coming to MyCareer, MyTEAM and The W Friday 30 June with new content and rewards. Season 8 features new apparel and collaborations with brands like OVO, Crocs, Gallery Department, Marathon, Eastside Golf, Daily Paper x Dreamville, Palm Angels, NASA and many others.
In NBA 2K23 Season 8, players can score from long range and push their skills to the limit with one of the NBA’s greatest scorers of all time, Kevin Durant. Durant’s presence in the Phoenix Suns, along with the cover athlete of NBA 2K23 Devin Bookermarks the beginning of a potential golden age for Suns basketball (this year stopped by Jokic’s Nuggets in the Conference Semifinals).
Other updates include:
● My career: Exciting new rewards for players to unlock, including a level 20 pair of overalls, a level 25 New Era hat, a level 30 NBA pet, a level 37 animated helmet and a level pet tiger cub 40 (Xbox One and PS4). Players will also be able to earn extra level 39 Badge Points and the level 40 Landmark Badge pattern (Xbox Series X|S & PS5) in Season 8.
● MyTEAM: more End Game cards and new Invincibles. End Game cards are fully upgraded cards, with a rating of 99 and all Hall of Fame level badges – the most powerful cards in MyTEAM. Players will start the season with Steph Curry’s End Game Level 1 and can progress up the reward ladder to Level 40 to earn End Game MVP Joel Embiid, while also earning
a series of reward cards along the way. Players who also complete All-Time Spotlight challenges will earn a Bill Russell End Game card.
● The W: Exciting rewards, including the Stewie 1 Shoe card, plus awesome weekly and seasonal rewards like the Jonquel Jones Heroine Edition Jersey, Squad Resilience Boosts, Skylar Diggins-Smith Jersey, new clothing bundles, and more.
