Prosecutor dismissed the June 5 misdemeanor charge and the case is closed
A battery charge was dismissed against the wide receiver of Las Vegas Raiders, Davante Adamsfor pushing a credentialed media worker in Kansas City after an October game.
A spokesman for the municipal court of Kansas City he told The Kansas City Star on Friday that a prosecutor dismissed the misdemeanor charge on June 5 and that the case was closed.
Adams pushed a person identified by police as Ryan Zebley. Zebley worked for “Monday Night Football” of ESPN as a freelance photographer and the incident occurred after the Raiders’ 30-29 loss to the Chiefs October 10th.

Records say Zebley suffered whiplash, a headache and a possible minor concussion from the incident. She sued Adams, the Raiders and the Chiefsamong others, for the incident, and that civil case is still pending.
Adams apologized after the game, saying the shoving “was just frustration mixed with [Zebley] literally running in front of me.”
Adams’ lawyer, JR Hobbs, declined to comment to the Star on Friday.
