Tigres, with a goal from Nicolás López, thrashed Toluca 4-1, where Leo Fernández scored

This Thursday the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Liga MX Closing Tournament between Tigres and Toluca was played, which ended with a 4-1 win for the cats and where there was participation of Uruguayans in both teams.

But the locals turned it around with goals from Francisco Córdova after 14 minutes, from André-Pierre Gignac after 31′ from a penalty and from Juan Vigón at 45’+5. Tigres controlled the match after taking the lead and the Uruguayan López closed the match.

The striker, who had entered at 69′, took advantage of a rebound from goalkeeper Tiago Volpi and scored his team’s fourth goal. It is the first goal in the Clausura Tournament group; he had previously scored one in the Clausura and one in the Apertura.
