NAPLES – The Campania Regional Council, chaired by Gennaro Oliviero, approved with 31 votes in favour, one abstention and six against, the Resolution on “Policies for education and the fight against early school leaving and educational poverty” which commits, among the other, the President and the Regional Council to counter the decisions taken by the Government in the latest budget law on school sizing in every administrative and institutional setting.
The approval of the Resolution took place following an extensive debate which saw the interventions of numerous advisers. The Resolution was introduced by the President of the Regional Commission for Education and Culture, Bruna Fiola (Pd), promoter of the single-issue council meeting, who spared no criticism of the opposition
