BC Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke is training with another NFL club, this time the Cincinnati Bengals, reports Farhan Lalji of TSN.
The 24-year-old has trained with at least eight league teams so far, including the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, Arizona and the Minnesota Vikings.
Players can sign a contract with an NFL club starting Jan. 9, which means a decision could come soon in his case.
Rourke has played 10 games with the Lions this season and was named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Canadian Player. He had 3,349 yards and 25 touchdowns against 10 interceptions.
He did, however, have to have surgery on one foot, which caused him to miss almost half of the campaign.
