The Czech Republic will face Spain, Austria and Greece in Group A, during the European Baseball Championship which will take place from September 24 to October 1, 2023 in five Czech cities: in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Trebic and Blansko.
France will face the Dutch defending champions, Croatia and Ukraine (group C), while Belgium will be part of D, with Israel, Germany and Switzerland. Finally, Group B will bring together Italy, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Hungary.
The Czech Republic will host the European Championship for the third time, having co-hosted it with Germany in 2014 and 2005.
At the last European Championship in 2021, the Czech selection finished in fifth place. At home, the Czechs will try to win their very first medal.
