The promises of judo from Extremadura meet in Badajoz

Last Saturday, 250 participants attended the Extremadura Judo Alevín and Benjamín Championship held at the Juancho Pérez Pavilion in Badajoz. The activity began with a general group warm-up and ended with a joint greeting addressed to the stands.

The championship was developed in eight tatamis, in which 14 weights of the youngest category were distributed. After its completion, the fry picked up the baton, distributed in 16 pesos.

A league-based competition system was followed, with a maximum of eight participants, and a play-off procedure was also implemented. In addition, each tatami was attended by two collegiate referees.

Different federated entities from Badajoz participated in the event, such as the Javier de la Marta or Javier Linde Judo School, Maristas, Coliseum, Record and San Roque Sport. Likewise, youAll the athletes received a medal for their participation and the first places were also presented with a commemorative trophy of the event.

The objective of the championship has focused on “promoting values ​​such as solidarity, sportsmanship, education and respect”, always prevailing participation over competition, as indicated by the organization.

The Extremeña de Judo Federation has wanted to convey its gratitude to all the clubs and family members who have attended the event and have also highlighted that this competition is one of the “most beautiful” of the season for the gratification generated by the institution seeing the little ones enjoy the sport.
