Shooting the Arch, in Fiumicino Claudio D’Annibale wins with 495 points. Honorable 4th place for Daniela Scancella

The competitive commitments of the archers of the ASD Valle Oracola of Rieti are continuous and the results are very satisfactory, as happened in the competition that took place in Fiumicino on Sunday 25 September in which Claudio D’Annibale won in his category. with 495 points.

The competition was characterized by an annoying wind which, as many fans of this sport know, is never an ally of the archers as they have to work hard to keep the bow stable during the release phase. It is necessary to point out in this event the honorable 4th place for Daniela Scancella and the 8th place for Daniele Antonelli.

On Saturday 1 October, during the usual training sessions at the shooting range, the champion Lucilla Boari (in the photo with D’Annibale) visited us, the first Italian archer to win a medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in the women’s individual.

The boari trained in our shooting range and seeing her was an interesting show and an extra motivation for our archers to improve.
