The combination lottery for the 75th Autumn Tohoku District High School Baseball Tournament, which will start on the 10th in Yamagata Prefecture, is a remote format on the 30th, and the match card has been decided. A total of 18 schools, including the top 3 schools from the 6 prefectures of Tohoku, will participate in the tournament, and will compete to participate in the selection tournament next spring.

Tohoku (Miyagi No. 1) will face the winner of Hachinohe Institute of Technology (Aomori No. 3) and North Asia Daimeizakura (Akita No. 3) in the first match. This summer’s national high school baseball championship winner Sendai Ikuei (Miyagi No. 2) is Aomori Yamada (Aomori No. 1) and Rifu (Miyagi No. 3) is Seiko Gakuin (Fukushima No. 1).

The tournament will be held for 5 days on 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th and 16th at two stadiums, the prefectural baseball stadium (Nakayama Town, Yamagata Prefecture) and the Yamagata City General Sports Center Baseball Stadium. At the prefectural baseball stadium, the national high school baseball championship flag won by Sendai Ikuei will be displayed from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm during the period.

The selection tournament next spring will be the 95th anniversary tournament, and the number of participating schools in the Tohoku region will be three, one more than usual.
