Moving from Liverpool to Bayern wasn’t easy

Sadio Mane admits his move from Liverpool to Bayern Munich not easy. Mane is experiencing a goal crunch at his new club.

The Senegalese football star was transported from Liverpool for a ransom of 41 million euros in the last summer exchange. At first Mane made a promising start after scoring four goals in his first four games for Bayern.

However, Mane’s tap failed after failing to score in the next six matches. Mane’s barrenness contributed to Bayern’s winning streak in four Bundesliga matches.

As a result, Sadio Mane also harvested criticism. However, the wait for Mane’s goal was over after contributing one goal to help Bayern Munich thrash Bayer Leverkusen 4-0 last weekend. Mane will try to maintain his positive momentum starting with the Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen.

“It went smoothly. Switching from one club to another was not easy,” Mane told Uefa.com. “I’ve had eight very good years in England, six years at Liverpool [setelah] two years at Southampton, and now I’m in a new country.”

“It’s not easy because everything changes very quickly: the people, the training, everything. Everything changes so it’s not easy at all. I need to adapt.”

“I knew that and wasn’t surprised. It happened as I imagined. But the people here are very open, and they are great players. The people around the club are amazing so I’m very happy,” added Sadio Mane.
