“It was very good until the engine stopped again, so… happy with the more or less personal performance, with how the race went, much better than yesterday, a good pace today, but… there are only two left”, he snapped.

Carlos Sainz: «Our worst weekend»

Carlos Sainz gave thanks for finishing the Mexican Grand Prix, because it was very difficult for him from the start. The performance problems due to the conditions of the track weighed him down too much and prevented him from fighting for what he now opts for, which are podiums.

“Unfortunately it is the weekend in which we have gone the worst by far. We knew the compromises we had to make with the car for this type of altitude and circuit. We knew that we have lost a lot, a lot of performance compared to the other races », he explained. «A pity because for a ‘weekend’ that I am comfortable with the car, I am attacking….
