Another behind-the-scenes video of “Today’s Webtoon” has been released!
“Today’s Webtoon” is a Korean remake of the popular 2016 Japanese series “Sleepeeer Hit!” and is set against the backdrop of South Korea’s competitive webtoon industry. Kim Sejeong plays On Ma Eum, a former judo athlete who joins the editorial department of a webtoon as a new employee and struggles to mature into a true editor.
The clip begins with Kim Sejeong rehearsing for a scene where the webtoon camp participants get into a fight. Nam Yoon Subeing Kim Sejeong’s practice partner, makes her laugh out loud with his exaggerated facial expression.
Later, Nam Yoon Su becomes a dedicated photographer for Kim Sejeong. They practice how to express the emotions that are written on the tablet. As a seasoned actress, Kim Sejeong shows off her acting skills with various expressions once she starts filming.
In the clip below, Kim Sejeong puts on a school uniform and poses for the camera. He soon reminisces about his school days and explains what kind of uniform style was in fashion when he was young. She comments, “Now that I’m older, I understand very well why older people love students who wear uniforms that fit them well.”
Kim Sejeong transforms into a judogi for more filming. Nam Yoon Su gently adjusts her clothes, highlighting her great chemistry. When it is Nam Yoon Su’s turn to film, Kim Sejeong also helps Nam Yoon by giving her instructions so that she can get the best performance out of her.
