A delegation of Paraguayan judokas won several medals in the Interprovincial Judo tournament “Mercosur”, which was held in the city of Resistencia Chaco, Argentina, under the supervision and organization of the Chaco Judo Federation (FCJ).
The athletes of the Paraguayan Judo Federation who won the medals are: Mateo Cabral who became champion and won the gold medal in two categories 60 kg, Junior and 60 k Senior.

In the female promotional category: Sofia Santagiuliana lifted the champion trophy and added another gold medal for the country. In addition, in the male promotional category, Alexander Núñez was the standout, winning the championship and the gold medal for the nation.
With the good harvest achieved by the athletes who went to the neighboring country, Paraguay is already looking at the XII South American Games Asunción 2022.
The judo competition will cover three days in Odesur, on October 11, 12 and 13, at the offices of the National Sports Secretariat.
