SBS has released a new action-packed poster for its upcoming drama “Today’s Webtoon”!
And remake drama from the popular 2016 Japanese series “Sleepeeer Hit!” “Today’s Webtoon” is a new SBS drama set against the backdrop of South Korea’s competitive webtoon industry. Kim Sejeong will star as On Ma Eum, a former judo athlete who joins a webtoon editorial department as a new employee and struggles to mature into a true editor.
The new poster captures the chaos that always seems to unfold at On Ma Eum’s company, Neon Webtoon, where the editorial department is in a rush to meet deadlines every day of the week.
Despite the pandemonium in the background, On Ma Eum stands cool at the center of the poster with unwavering poise and confidence, revealing that she is more than ready to take on this daunting new world. Meanwhile, her classmates Goo Joon Young (Nam Yoon Su), Seok Ji Hyung (Choi Daniel), Jang Man Chul (Park Ho San), Kwon Young Bae (Yang Hyun Min). Ki Yoo Mi (Kang Rae Yeon), and Choi Doo Hee (Ahn Tae Hwan) are buried in a sea of comics as they gracefully fight through the chaos with varying levels of skill and composure.
“Today’s Webtoon” premieres on July 29 at 10 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki.
