On July 3, the national Ufolep blowgun rally and the national Ufolep youth archery rally took place in Saint Benin d’Azy. The athletes of the Sarb’Arc’Am association did not return empty-handed from this trip to Nièvre.
Eight shooters from Sarb’Arc’Am took part. There was a team of four young people on the archery course and four others engaged in the individual blowpipe, two of which also formed a team.
The association brings back to Amiens 2 gold medals thanks to Laurena in the 11-12 years old category and Isabelle in the big tube over 26 years old category in the blowpipe.
The Ufolep youth national archery gathering team finished 4th with 2309 points, 44 points behind the third-placed team. They still collected a third place in the ArcSarb departmental ranking with the blowgun team made up of a shooter from the Archers Pont Rémois and a youngster from the Écureuils de Péronne.
In short, the people of Amiens brought home two gold medals and four bronze medals per team. Enough to end the season in the most beautiful way.
