Morocco is participating with a delegation of 130 athletes in the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games scheduled for June 25 to July 6 in Oran, Algeria.
Moroccan athletes (86 men and 44 women), accompanied by 48 supervisors, will engage in 15 sports, namely athletics, boxing, cycling, fencing, football, weightlifting, judo, karate, wrestling, pétanque, boules sports, equestrian sports, taekwondo, tennis and sports shooting, the Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) said in a statement.
The members of the Moroccan delegation were registered for the Mediterranean Games through the list of athletes and technical, administrative and medical staff proposed by the national sports federations, added the same source.
The CNOM is organizing information sessions for all participants on June 07, 15 and 16, in order to explain the special arrangements put in place to ensure travel to Oran, as well as the organizational directives to follow.
