A new lead from Italy for OM. According to Sky Italia and its mercato journalist Gianluca Di MarzioOM took information on Matias Vecino, central midfielder of Inter Milan, at the end of the contract on June 30 and therefore soon to be free.
Aged 30, this experienced Uruguayan international (60 caps) had been playing for Inter Milan for five years after wearing the colors of Fiorentina, Empoli and Cagliari. Far from starting at Inter, Vecino still took part in 23 matches last season and has played around thirty European Cup matches since the start of his career, between the Champions League (12) and the Europa League (19).
It remains to be seen whether this is a hot lead for OM or yet another file watched from afar by the Longoria-Ribalta tandem.
